Crit feedback; much improvements required

These past two days were really demanding. Design and building analysis as well as 1:100 scale model was required for the first session. Thankfully I completed the required work with only two hours of sleep. Ah, the life of a BTech student in just their third week of varsity.

After hearing the class present, I felt quite like the underdog since I'm the only student in the class not originally from NMMU. But, I put my brave face on and said what I needed to say. And everyone was so helpful and insightful. I got positive and encouraging feedback from everyone, especially my lecturer. Safe to say I have LOTS to improve on and that just made my weekend that much more heavy.

Another weekend working towards success...

First hand-ins... Stress levels increasing

This week holds two deadlines and I'm starting to feel the stress levels rise. I'm coping and managing to keep pen on paper but I can't help but feel like I'm still stuck in the holiday mood.

Thankfully, my lecturers are really helpful and have pointed me in the right direction. I hope that what I produce is acceptable to their high standards.

Here's hoping.

New year, New City, New University, New people

So here I am, bright-eyed and fresh at the start of a new designing year at a new university with new class mates. First impression: everyone is so friendly and awesome! I really love this place and the atmosphere. The lecturers are so helpful and always willing to help. I'm so keen and excited for the year.
